Outside of FIA, I'm also involved in KXSC (college radio) and interested in working with music, print media and film. My mother worked in fashion and so subconsciously I grew up around it, but I didn't get really into it until high school, where I learned to develop my own sense of style and began seeing fashion as an inherent way to read taste and personality.

I got into fashion during the pandemic by being chronically online, and through curation, I found a creative way to explore my personality, which eventually led me to join FIA. I also joined Flavors, USC’s food club, to engage with food, culture, and diversity. I’ve been very intentional in choosing clubs that reflect my interests and values, because that's most important to me.

I'm super involved in theatre, film, and photography! I freelance as a film/photo producer, and do a lot of lighting and digital technician (Digitech) work for photography. I got into fashion and FIA because I wanted to create a space where people who are interested in creating the media for Fashion can come together, and work creatively while also gaining new opportunities to work and jobs outside of school.

I feel that I have always been involved in fashion since I had the lucky opportunity to runway model at the age of five. Although that was my one and only modeling experience, it sparked a lasting interest in fashion. Since then, I have found myself drawn to collections, runway shows, and the fashion world as a whole.
